The purpose of the Abrahadabra Institute is to establish an independent (e.g. open-source) platform around which the magickal formula of Abrahadabra can be researched, developed and disseminated without reliance upon or commitment to any other religious, philosophical or metaphysical influence. It is solely committed to facilitating a clear understanding of the phrase "Every Man and Every Woman is a Star". We would like to arrive at a productive accounting of what this premise implies on all coherent levels, with special attention being paid to the physical. If we are to take this as some sort of evolutionary imperative, we will have to know what it actually means in order to be able to take effective action upon it! Beyond this, we will have to devise an effective methodology (or combination of methodologies) facilitating this particular *becoming*. If these things do not occur, we are ultimately left with a charismatic metaphor which sounds great but doesn't actually mean very much of anything.

For the benefit of those who never heard of Abrahadabra, it is a crafted word purported to be invested with uniquely *magickal* qualities and has been hailed down through the centuries as especially auspicious. Its true origins have never been completely sorted out but it comes to us in written form via the Roman physician Quintus Severus Sammonicus in the 2nd century A.D. referencing a certain Abracadabra incantation technique (found also on amulets and charms) among the Gnostics, said to be successful in the reduction of fevers, dispelling of assorted maladies and also useful as a spell for returning lost or stolen items! There are conflicting interpretations as to its literal meaning but its geometry has never been in doubt. Formed from 66 letters in 11 sequential rows, arranged with one letter at apex and 11 letters at the base, we arrive at a perfect triangle of letters either ascending or descending. If descending, the word is thought to have the power to reduce; if ascending, to exalt. It is perhaps the most basic (yet enduring) example we have of *word magick* as understood in ancient times that is still perfectly recognizable as such in modern times.

What does any of this have to do with *stars*? Aleister Crowley's legendary Liber Al vel Legis (aka the Book of the Law) has proven to be a game-changer for occult philosophy in general. While gnostic physicians may have been interested in the descending form of Abracadabra, its most relevant form today is the ascending, under its revised spelling Abrahadabra. By scrutinizing the internal geometry of this ancient word we uncover a number of especially important anatomical clues regarding the Body of Light and its *occult* (e.g. *hidden*) properties. The sum of all these clues gives rise to an advanced model of the Tree of Life not addressed in any known historical writings that speaks to a higher dimension of the Tree most aptly defined as a *Star*. It is this *Star* that is of special interest to the Abrahadabra Institute - in part because so little is known of it - and in part because this hidden geomathematical model goes far beyond geometry alone, but rather appears to any astute alchemist to bear all of the expected markings of the alchemical Philosopher's Stone. What is revealed is not just a *glyph* of the Great Work in Completion but a comprehensive physics of anatomical wholeness itself. An entire body of heretofore unpublished alchemical principles and properties appears to be miraculously embedded in the form of this *magickal* word-formula handed down to us from antiquity.

When the Abrahadabra Institute was first established as an online presence in 2002 its principle focus was the exploration and publication of this seemingly inexhaustible wealth of  *hidden* alchemical principle. By this time it had already been the subject of personal investigation for over 30 years, though nothing had been spoken of it publicly. Under the heading Mutational Alchemy, I ultimately decided I had unearthed something too important to keep silent about. It was time to bring it to the attention of others and also subject it to the criticisms and analytical prowess of any and all interested parties. At the time of this writing (October, 2012) I am pleased to report that it has not only held its ground but has thus far ignited an impressive range of forward-thinking light & sound technologies. The original goal of making a significant contribution to Hermetic Philosophy in modern times has mutated into something much bigger than anyone might have then expected. As powerful cosmological models often do, this Nu Aeon model of *Stars* seems to be systematically branching out in all directions, impacting artistic and scientific endeavors of many kinds. While spiritual-alchemy has been in a morbid slump for several centuries (lacking any coherent core physics of any kind), many other avenues of artistic and scientific exploration have also suffered under the lack of its heuristic luminescence. We are witnessing an exciting awakening of a most unexpected kind that seems to be spreading exponentially at this report.

While this theory makes extensive use of the mathematics of binary and ternary hexagrams, it should be noted that the specific arrangement of these systems is entirely unique to this particular theory and is not in any way, sense or form intended as a redefining of classical systems as they already exist historically. The Mutational Alchemy arrangement of the bigrams, trigrams, tetragrams, hexagrams, etc are completely unique and therefore not intended as a rewriting of the Fu Hsi (Inner World) or King Wen (Outer World) arrangements of ancient China. This is vital to a clear understanding of what is transpiring in this immediate elemental logic. It is highly recommended that serious students of these most ancient cosmologies take the time to study them independently and not rely upon the arrangements I have outlined as representative of them in any way. I abhor historical revisionism and caution against it all the time. Mutational Alchemy reaffirms a certain geomantic physics whose roots stretch back 5000+ years that we know of. The physics itself is universal but the interpretations of that physics have varied from period to period. Any skillful conceptual syncretist knows better than to try to assert modern ideas as ancient ones. Parallels certainly do exist but the essential logic being outlined here is contemporary, not *traditional* per se. There are independent strengths and weaknesses in all of these ancient arrangements depending upon your particular application in the moment, so they should be studied independently.

The alchemical model I am declaring in these pages amounts to a system of starbody-simulation unlike anything I have ever seen anywhere in the world, yet it comprises principles from all points compass. Similarly, the language of *alchemical projection* has unique implications in this system as well. It has parallels everywhere and yet is nowhere spelled out in the kind of detail I am disclosing right here. The ability to build hexagrams (tantrically) opens up a whole new era in conscious coded-energy management. Its long-range ramifications are staggering. We have the makings of a system that may ultimately make it possible for us to master the Body of Light on a neurogenetic level using all of our logical faculties in the process without sacrificing anything.

Warning: This is not your typical feel-good meditation technique. This is something powerfully concentrated and very very strong. I can't even begin to estimate all the ways it may make a difference in things but I have enough analytical expertise and hands-on experience to know that I am not imagining anything. In the end, the facts will always speak for themselves.
